more threats animals

more.....negligent mechanics

more.....human- or mother nature???

Threats is an expression of an intention to inflict pain, injury, evil, or punishment. 2. An indication of impending danger or harm

shoe stains

stains at door jams

more swirls

very visible swirls - so much so look like CC premature failure

plastic handle - paint oxidation

after my Favourite ONR wash......deeper cleaning

Power clean dilution 1: 5 water

Just you see & now you dont

more side steps cleaning

at the lower internal door panel

another brushes for highly contaminated area - such as these or engine area

TAR education - TIPs

whenever after any 2 x 2 feet area clayed - we should stop & check for any Visible sighted contaminants - such as tars, dust, sands or brake dust

Note
Failing to do such - you might transferred A to B & contaminate another area with scratches..etcs...

STOP! In the name of Love - before you hurt me!!!

remove them prior folding to a new area & continue to clay the next area

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++

once preps is done - now I have a surface above free from contaminants - moving to paint corrections

swirls

very visible fine line cut - is done only professionally - regular car wash damages!!!!

threats inflicted professional by car washes (or road side ones)

SWIRLS is usually inflicted by our habits & the wrong way of handling washing , also techniques (wrong way of shampooing - circulating) & material used - such as sponges, worn out mitts/microfibers, drying cloth - cotton cloth - old rags, old t-shirts, jeans la....etcs...as our clear coat is only 2/1000th part of an inch

therefore I make it a point to change my Microfibers once every 3-4 months to prevent

a 50/50% area set

after compounding - with OPTIMUM Hyper Spray Compound with LC Double sided wool

ta da

driver side

cuts & deeper scratches - suspected - as it is always park at the narrow drive way - so much so, scratches inflicted - while gliding out from car!!!

Ta da -

after paint corrections & levelling

more swirls from washing !!!!!

means more work!! ta da

moving to left side

more
deep scratches

ta da

clarity restored

hood area

swirls

after paint correction

premature paint failure due to car washing

now

door handle scratches

ta da - as though giving it a brand new paint

scratches - negligent from previous workshop

ta da

Passenger left side door - scratches & stains before

now

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ BEFORE ++++ AFTER

plenty of swirls - before

ta da

BACK TO THE FUTURE!!!
just finish compounding with OSREN velvet cutting pad & followed by LC Double sided Wool pad & LC Cutting pad!!!!!

VISIBLE HOLOGRAM!!!! paint defect inflicted by car detailers

Spot me contest??

after finishing with polishing pad with OPTIMUM Hyper spray polish (excellent working time )

it is gone & former glory is being restored!!!!

clarity & definition redefine

stone chips before

now

my magic portion
specially - premix for my UDMs

more chips - BEFORE

MAGICALLY YOURS

now

YESTERDAY!!! All my trouble seems so far away

Can you see the rainbow come!!!

another sign of premature - CC failure!!

now after paint correction & premantly Opti-Coating

definitions detail

see how bad is this back light - abuse by the road side car washes

after detail

before

after being polish by Optimum hyper spray polish

Opti-Coat is one of the latest products to be released by Optimum Polymer Technologies. According to Optimum, Opti-Coat forms a permanent coating that acts as a second layer of clear coat that bonds to all surfaces. As the Opti-Coat will seal in any paint defects or contamination on the surface, it is only sold to professional detailers who have to sign a release form before they can purchase the Opti-Coat.

Naturally, after signing a release form and reading about how Opti-Coat forms a permanent coating that acts as a second layer of clear coat, I had to try it out for myself.

Although the Opti-Coat is supposed to provide an additional layer of protection on top of the regular clear coat, what better way to try out a product that is supposed to act as an additional layer of clear coat than on a car with clear coat failure?

my little attempt here

is not to be confused with other waxes, sealants or nano-coatings, this is different. Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 uses a resin technology that forms a permanent bond to paint and cures, just like an extra layer of clear coat.

Here are some important points about Opti-Coat.

1. Compared to factory clear coat, Opti-Coat has far superior resistance to chemical attacks
2. Compared to factory clear coat, fully cured Opti-Coat is much harder and resistant to marring (9 on Mohs scale of hardness)
3. Compared to factory clear coat, Opti-Coat releases dirt and oil much easier producing an "easy clean" effect.
4. Compared to these BS paint protection sealants Opti-Coat will not wash off or degrade over time.

++++++++++++ Ladies & gentleman presenting to you our new family member ++++++++++++++

I would just joint it up with nike

Just do it, nothing is impossible as everyone can fly

Of course, mine's clean but not perfectly clear from swirls, RIDs, scratches etc, but well, we do what we need to do to keep it as presentable as possible.

Good to know that you've stopped relying on road side car washes. In my whole life, I've only sent my car to those places once.

Have you bought other items such as a decent set of microfibres, applicators for the wash and wax? Can't wait to see the end result bro.

All thanks to KC, Seech and the rest for sharing their work here, that we finally are aware of how wrong we were in the past in caring for our rides.

Btw, car care doesn't discriminate in my books. I tend to give the same TLC to my missus' Myvi when I am free.

Scratches not the major heartache for me; the biggest pain in the @$$ is seeing bird droppings or tree sap on the paintwork... Super ouch man...

And best of all, to me it's the sight of cars having water beading after it rains...

Serious, I always observe which cars have immaculate water beading, and how some are looking so forlorn...

I'm such a obsessive-compulsive car care freak...

Resuscitation achieved! Did the previous owner hate this car!?

Outstanding work once again, KC!

BTW, for al the readers who do not have to work in such heat, I can assure you working at 90F+ and high humidity is much more difficult than it would seem. Polishes behave differently and the humidity makes a sticky mess of everything, especially the gunk you have to clean off before polishing or the stuff on leather and interiors. It takes double the time to work in these conditions. The Optimum spray compounds excel in these conditions! Other compounds are just too hard to work with.

Thanks, KC! The 5-series is an great car!

Totally awesome job!!

Btw can you share how you use optimum hyper spray polish?(which pad, number of section passes etc?)

I use it, and even though its amazing, but I always need to follow up with Menzerna po85rd in order to get the perfect finish.

This got me wondering, maybe I'm not using it correctly!

KC, there just isn't enough O's in WOW to describe the finished product after seeing what you started with. I would have loved to see the owners face when they picked up the car!

There's always allot of great information in your posts and everyone would be better if they read them...

Thanks for the fine work and posting for all to see KC..

Hi Sohail99, thanks for your kind words - I have been a faithful 205 user - good stuff - till i found OHSP -
the problem of detailing here is the temperature we are in & it get cakes up when we worked half way !!! 96.8 degree Fahrenheit...its boiling hot

With the latest technology in OHSP/OHSC a combination of both AD + SMAT = Mama mia results - mainly the long working time & its a far better polish i ever use

I have tried a numerous Pads dependant aggressiveness - OHSP is the best

so much so majority detail i can just finish it with polishing pad

i did a black porsche with a step down to finishing pads

the pic tells everything.....

in day

by night

G'day mate

Thanks for your kind words......You've got the best when you got opti coating - coated on yr ride - the best protection one can ever gave their ride - not just the paint but the entire exterior - plastic, vinyl, glass - superb water mark resistant & fantastic reflections -

You have a greater task ahead - I can imagine how to wash your ride back at down under only 2 bucket full of water-

now with Opti coating - you have the strongest hardest coating for your investment & a simple 1/2 bucket full (2 galls) washing your car with ONR is superbly - EASY EFFORTLESS & EFFECTIVE car care in the world

happen to shot this afternoon my buddy's ride which i opti coated - 6 months ago
& weekly washes by himself with ONR

Nice job.

Opti Coat is a great product, like a wipe on clear coat.

I rate all Optimum products especially Opti Seal.

That is excellent work, I really like the end results.

I like the results you got after dealing with the stone chips. I have got some stone chips and some scratches. Can you tell me how you achieved those results?

hi buddy
sure
thanks for yr email, many has call me up pertaining this,

what i did was - drove over my ride to the paint (mixture) shop /AKA Auto paint shop - and got my petrol cover scanned & premix to the closet colour tone

clean yr ride - surrounding paint fully corrected & detail & wipe with ISO - then get a tooth pick to dip...smallest dip possible - as small spec of small dust - drop on the affected area & let it dry about 4 hours prior moving on to the 2nd layer - 3rd (at yr discretion)

lastly coated permanently with opti coat (as it act as the new clear protectant now)

have fun

Hi Sypder

4. Compared to these BS paint protection sealants Opti-Coat will not wash off or degrade over time.

orang minyak????? left behind ???

ver very oily stuff - if u were to do a wipe test on a tissue u will know what i mean

oily dressing is something is irritating - as it will trap dust & dirt , and once your your sleeves wipe across accidentally ta da - oily dark stained out sleeves

1stly old dressing must go - with power clean diluting 1 part 3 water & agitate with soft bristle hair brushes & wipe down with damp MF

as for me i rather choose a UV coating base product instead of shinny looking ( dust attracting) - as Optimum leather protectant do not cover up like others dressing does - but will definably prolong the oxidation part

Another spray on wipe off & walk away

look at the 50/550%

satin finish but not oily

ta da

satin finish dashes

no more oily surface

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++how to get yr Carpet detail ++++++++++ without electricity & asses ability

more underneath the carpet

fold & remove the dust particles by folding the carpet

brush off the dirt instead of dusting it on a floor or grill - bla bla

tips - a soft plastic bristle brushes & a DC vaccum is the best of this job

eg
hard to vacuum area

hard to reach area by brushing them off

sweeps the dirt to a open area to be suck int by DC vacuum

ta da

balance - ta da

dull & dried seats before

satin finish feel dashes - silky smooth when touch & no more oils - get trapped again

the best seat on the car - thats how every driver felt but willing exchange that for driving a UDM

leather now is protected -Leather protectant - not another oily dressing which gives u squeaking - abrasion against yr leather & clothing cos most
2 in 1 leathers contains 90 % cleaners & 10 conditioner (no UV protection)

smooth & silky satin feels

all seats is protected by Optimum leather protectant - all surface interior space can be applied esp leathers, rubbers & vinyl

ta da

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++unpredictable weather worn us out....
another threats from general public & becareful where you park

scratches remove by mild hand polish - as it has been opti coated & a real good test of the coating strength

thank God opti coated

here some beading alien egg picture

aliens is here to stay

superb water beadings & minimal dirt particles stickin to a well coated paint

i actually drove thru rain every time without switching the wiper...& water just beads away

thanks for viewing another detailing adventure again

cheerios KC
