opti coat test with road tar stain review, can it live up to its claims by Detailien KC

For U create my inmost being & U knitted me in my mothers wombI am fearfully & wonderfully make

TAR stains is quite annoying, intimidating moreover it affect the finishing looks and the beauty.
requires careful and delicate approaches, to avoid damages by aggressive chemicals along the way

will OPTI COATING resist this??

Quote:
Opti coat a Ceramic Polymer Resin which has better scratch resistance, UV resistance, and chemical resistance than any other Car Paint Protection

Opti-Coat does not degrade and cannot be removed by chemicals such as heavy duty truck wash or even caustic degreasers.

Sadden me and yet i am sparks to see how it react, straight away I grab my camera & hose off it off with water
(not even with a pressure jet, as I dont like to use them - as the pressure may dimple the clear coat & damages paint in long run)

Opti-Coat does not degrade and cannot be removed by chemicals such as heavy duty truck wash or even caustic degreasers. It is totally resistant to these chemicals and produces a permanent film that is chemically bonded with the factory paint layers. Opti-Coat is the most effectively paint protector , best for the vehicles new outer clear coat

I make it thru the rain

where we many have experienced and seen that some(if not all other) coating will not withstand continuous washing with anything harsher then a gentle car wash. but this a tar stain

Nice write-up, KC. I've had similar experiences with Opti-Coat, can't say enough good things about it.

Wondered why the car I Opti-Guard(ed) doesn't get tar on it anymore. Now I know, it rinses off before I wash it.

Hm... maybe this will persuade me to the dark side of Opti Coat instead of playing with my waxes. gj KC!

Fantastic KC's. I love OC so much for all of the reasons that you state. Truely amazing stuff.

Have you tried the spay bottle method or the suede MF application with the car pro block? The suede MF is currently my favorite method of application.

Great work KC, I actually just jumped on the Opti-Coat bandwagon and if it can help with Tar sticking all over my rockers, it will be well worth it.

So, after applying the Opticoat, tar stains just wash off like ? If thats the case, Im going to definitely add this to my collection.
God give them wisdom that have it...

I've observed the same. Tar that used to require a strong solvent to remove now just washes off with a regular wash mitt. Nothing seems to stick to Opticoat.
